We stayed at The Disney Resort that had direct access to the beach from the clubhouse that also had a pool and some other fun things, camp fires and story telling/smores at night, and activities for the kids. The place was dead because of the time of year but we didn't mind..
Here are a couple of pics from the trip.. the view from outside of the hotel.
The kids playing at the beach.. it was a little chilly but as long as they had their little jackets on they were fine.
We made sure to bring along some sand toys for them to play with, it was nice to be in the sunshine, it actually was upper 60's that day so it really wasn't too bad.
A little shuffleboard, Lucy got pretty darn good at it.. as for Norah, she just liked to run up and down (you can see her little body at the other end). They are such funny little kids.
Me and the EZO, Lucy wanted to practice taking pictures.. she did a pretty good job!
"Shadow" the dog.. the kids loved him.
Norah doing the #1, yes, still loves her bottle and can't live without it but... being the mean mom that I am :) it is in the process of disappearing. She is almost 2!! Which I can't believe.
Daddy and Lucy doing the #1.. cute pic!
We went to Savannah, Georgia a night just to explore after doing some outlet shopping. We found a couple of the touristy areas and walked around, rode a little train up and down this cool little main street, and even got a boat ride. We went to dinner and bought a couple of souvenirs plus one of the wiseman that Norah broke after I told her not to touch anything haha yeah right.. so we will have to hot glue the head back on and it will be perfect for next Christmas.
Family pic
It always kinda stinks to get home and back into reality but we have a very good life and feel very blessed that we can take little family trips here and there. We had a great time and many memories to last until Dave's next break which.. won't be for a long time :( residency.. it won't last forever.

So fun, yeah you missed the storm of the year! Gosh you look awesome in that last pic. You must be training for something? :) i just signed up, yikes!!!
Looks like a blast! We can't wait until Blair is old enough to appreciate a fun trip like that. I spent a summer in Hilton Head nannying and loved it. What a magical place - doesn't it make you want to pick up a Nicholas sparks book?
