Happy 4th of July

The 4th of July is a huge Clark family celebration.  My mom drove out to Ohio with us and helped us get settled.  We flew back with her on June 25th to spend the 4th together.  Dave wasn't able to come because he had just started residency.  They are keeping him really busy so he didn't even have a second to miss us :)

I love my little Lucy!  She is a stinker but a sweetheart at the same time.  She looks so sweet and innocent.

Me and my cute sisters, Jen and Candice.  I miss them so much!

Classic Norah face.  I love it!

Awww...  so sweet!

Me and Lucy at the Provo parade.  It's not really as cool as I remember but the kids love it and it's tradition.

What a fun day and vacation back to see the family and celebrate the 4th.  Happy Birthday America!

Columbus here we come!

We left our home in Utah on June 15th and and drove for 3 straight days...  no joke.  We drove all day, slept a couple hours in a hotel, drove another whole day, etc etc etc...  We saw some beautiful country and some not so beautiful country.  We ate a lot of fast food, twinkies, candy bars, chips, and gas station popcorn, drank a lot of coke, (which I was not heartbroken about... or any of the above), spent a lot of money on gas, made many pit stops, listened to some great mixed cd's that are really old and scratched up (I ended up throwing a ton away), some great conversation, singing (mostly old macdonald, give said the little stream, little mermaid, etc) and a lot of other fun stuff that you do on really long road trips with a 6 week old and a terrible 2.  It was fun but I can't say I will be driving back and forth to Utah again soon...  hopefully never :) It really wasn't that bad.

We did a lot of this kind of thing, mostly to distract Lucy from escaping out of her car seat after her dvd player ran out of batteries.  She lasted about 5 hours and then started to get anxious... so to pass the time we made Norah do funny faces.  Poor Norah.  It made us laugh and she will never remember, right?

Here is Lucy, almost 3 years old and sucking on her dang binkie, it kept her happy so we let her suck away.

Tears of joy when I saw this... we finally made it!  It only took us 30 hours, yes 30 hours.  It was supposed to only take us 24 hours.

Penske did the job just fine.  Dave drove the truck towing his car behind and we followed.  It was so fun :)  Glad it's over.

It was a memorable road trip that I will never forget.  Cute pic guys!  I love you!

Ludlow reunion

In  june, less than a week before we packed up and moved we went up to Sundance for a family reunion to enjoy the mountains one more time before moving to the land of trees.  It was so fun to get together and spend some quality time with each other.  Here are some pics that we took.

Me and my girls, Norah and Lucy.  Norah was 6 weeks old, Lucy almost 3.

All of the Ludlow grandkids.  Lucy is so cute standing on the end.  It's crazy that she is not a baby anymore, she is a such a big girl.

Our family, daddy loves having a family of girls and no, there is not baby barf coming out of Norah.

Awww...  So cute!  Lucy loves being a big sister.

All of the Ludlow bros and sisters with their husbands and of course the best part... the wives.
Thanks for the fun times and memories.
