This is me before the surgery just hanging out waiting for the Dr to come.
This is such a cool picture (I think) some may think it is a little too much to put on my blog because it is kinda bloody but I love it! Look at her cute little head before she is even breathing on her own. Dave got the coolest video of her being born. It really is the most amazing thing in the whole wide world.
Here is our baby... old man Norah. That is what we call her, maybe not so much anymore but she looks like a little old man. Look at her hair line and wrinkles on her forehead. She looks so different now, well atleast she doesn't look like an old man anymore. She was born at 12:57 pm and was 6 lbs 7 ounces and 19 inches long.
This is me and Norah... don't I look lovely?
Daddy and baby Norah. I love this picture!
This is Lucy meeting Norah for the first time. We weren't sure how she would react but she loved her from the very beginning, giving her kisses and calling her sweetheart since we didn't have a name for her yet. It was so fun!
My mom, Jen, and Candice picked up Lucy and took care of her while I was having the C-section so they were all there right after her birth. I was so happy that they were there. I am so thankful for my family. They helped us so much with Lucy while I was in the hospital and after we got home. Dave had to fly out to Ohio on May 1st for some residency stuff and to find a place for us to live so we went down and stayed at my parents house while he was gone. I couldn't have done it without their help. Thanks guys. I love you!
Here is our little family. I love it! So fun!

We decided to name her Norah. I had loved that name all along but we both always said we would wait until she was born to decide forsure. I loved Norah Elizabeth but Dave like Norah Jane better and since I decided on Norah I thought I would let him choose the middle name and I love it just as much.
Daddy's girls, all home together for the first time.
Norah is such a good baby. She is so content and is such a good sleeper and eater. She has this quiet little cry when she is hungry or needs to be changed but other than that she is so chill. I love it! Norah, we love you so much. We are so glad that you were sent to our family.
I know this is kind of random but on Memorial Day we went down to the Provo cemetary and I didn't realize that my great great grandma (Lucy and Norah's great great great grandma) has both of their middle names. Lucy Bee and Norah Jane. I knew about Bee when we named Lucy but didn't think about Jane. Now I love the names even more knowing that they have the names of their great x3 grandma. Pretty cool, I think!
