Random journaling 08

Just to warn you...  this whole blog is basically my journal and this post may bore you because it is mostly for my memory...

I absolutely love having Dave home.  He has one more interview in Texas this week and then is home for good.  By the end of this whole process he will have interviewed with 9 programs.  I think I have mentioned this in a previous post but for my own memory he will have interviewed in Rochester and Long Island (NY), Texas Tech and Texas A&M, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, L.A., and Utah, so we will see.  We could be anywhere for the next 5 or 6 years, which is exciting but a little overwhelming.  I know this waiting for match day (the end of January) is really stressful for Dave.  He has another intense rotation the month of January at IMC in the shock trauma unit but then after that... things are smooth sailing for him and graduation is just around the corner.  I'm so proud of him!  He has worked so hard and has done so well.  I'm so blessed to have such a good husband.  I love him so much.  Our latest plan is to find out where we are going and then put our house up for sale so that we can hopefully sale it before June so that we are not having to pay 2 mortgages once residency starts.  It makes me sad to think that we will be moving out of our town home that we have been living in for the last 3 1/2 years.  I love that place.  It's the first place since we have been married that I call home.  We have had some really good times there with many memories that I will never forget.

Anyway, this pic was taken at Temple Square.  We took Lucy to see the lights last Sunday night and it was really fun to just go and be together as a family.  You can't really see the lights in this pic but you sure can see right down Lucy's throat, well you can't really see down her throat because her tonsils are so freakin' huge.  Poor girl!  She snores louder that my mom and dad put together and gags on just about everything she eats.  I took her to the Dr last summer to have them checked out and he said that they don't generally take tonsils out until she turns 3 or is atleast 30 lbs, which she will probably turn 3 before she weighs that much because she doesn't eat because of the darn things.  It will be nice to have them out, someday. Kids swimming in the hot tub on Thanksgiving.  She looks more and more like her dad everyday.  She is a total Ludlow!  I think she is pretty darn cute.
Lucy helped me decorate (and undecorate) the Christmas tree while Dave was out of town (he got home the night before Thanksgiving).  I was anxious to get the decorations up for some reason this year...  and I thought that it would be fun to suprise Dave when he got home from a long couple weeks away from home.  When we wake up in the morning Lucy takes me to the tree and says "lights mom" and gets excited every time I turn them on.  I love that she is talking more and understands when we talk.  She still loves movies "mobie" (especially Mermaid, Grinch, and Snowman lately) and loves reading books more and more now.  She mostly just liked to turn the pages but now she actually listens and knows what each book is about.  Her latest thing is that when we say it's time for a nap or bedtime she stalls and wants to eat...  Eat, mom, eat!, like she is all of a sudden hungry when she just ate lunch/dinner or had a snack.  By the way she loves Nemo fruit snacks, cookies, cheese sticks, cereal, frozen pancakes, yogurt, (e-gert), popsicles (she calls them pickles), popcorn or pretty much anything you put in a little cup.  I love when I try to kiss her or make her eat or whatever she says "Stop mom" or "Don't mom" and holds her hand out.  She also ends up in our bed mostly every night (she still pulls the 4 o'clock freak out and won't stay in her bed or ends up just falling asleep with us) and in the morning she will look over my shoulder and say "Boo" or "wake up" as she kisses my cheek.  It is so cute.  Then she decides if she wants pancakes or cereal for breakfast...  lately she has wanted to eat cheese for breakfast.  Funny!  She loves to have her tummy and back tickled and she will laugh and say "tickle"  as she squirms every which way.  I love it!  She gets cuter everyday.  When I tell her something she doesn't want to hear or ask her to do something that she doesn't want to do she closes her eyes and hopes that I will disappear and ignores me and then smiles when I bug her for ignoring her mom.  She is really good at saying no too.  She also loves to say "Dad/Mom watch!"  The other day it was cute but not so cute at the same time, we had just gotten home from Sonic and I seriously had had one sip of my cherry coke with lots of crushed ice (my favorite) and some how she got a hold of it and was drinking it, then all of a sudden I hear her say "Mom, watch" and so I looked at her to see what she was up to and she started blowing bubbles in my brand new drink.  She laughed and thought it was so funny and I didn't think it was funny but laughed anyway because it was so cute.  Needless to say, I handed the drink over to her because I have a hard time with the whole backwash deal, yes I gave her coke...  so what!  She also sings to random music in the car "Live your Life, ay ay ay ay...  or to cartoons like My friends Tiger and Pooh (one of my favorites!).  She is such a sweetheart.  I don't know what I would do without her.  She makes me really happy (and really mad sometimes) but mostly happy.  I have figured out this last few weeks that being a mom is all about trial and error, somethings work and some things don't and it is really hard to be strong sometimes.  I really wanted to get rid of her bink all together but after a few sleepless nights and day naps I gave in and gave her bink to her but explained that it was only for when she was going to sleep.  She has done really well without it during the day even though she has had some major freak outs when she wants it and I tell her no.  They are frustrating and no fun for either of us and I feel like such a bad mom for confusing her with the whole "broken" thing...  (hence the whole trial and error, I've definately learned a thing or two from this whole experience) if you keep reading through older posts you will know what I am talking about.  I'm hoping that once she is completely over having her bink during the day we can work on going without if for naps then eventually night time but right now I can't afford to lose anymore sleep and neither can she.  Maybe this approach will work better than the last, I hope!
I'm so excited for her to have a sister to play with.  She is very busy and it is going to be a long winter.  I think she gets a little bored just being at home with boring mom and dad so we try and make it important that we get her out to run around.  During the day we walk to the clubhouse to exercise and then we make our daily coke run and do errands, then we usually do something together at night when Dave gets home.  Dave has been so good to take her places at night when I am at work...  he took her to Cabela's one night, to the mall Christmas shopping, Del Taco and McDonalds to play, we have also been to Chick-fil-A, Carl's Jr, and other places to let her play on the playground and eat dinner.  We are in the process of finding a fun gymnastics class for her.  I think she would love it as long as she could see us there with her.  I love her so much!  She makes my heart smile and I know she makes Dave's heart smile as well.  She is such a huge blessing in my life!  I love you Luce!

Thanksgiving 08

I love Thanksgiving!  I have so many things to be thankful for.  My mom and Jen went to stay with Sarah in Arizona and help with baby Sadie so Sam, Holly and kids, Candice, Jess and Adam, Dave, Lucy, and I all went down to chill with my dad.  My mom was such a sweetheart and had most of the stuff already prepared so we all helped put it all together and also brought something of our own so it was easy but so yummy as every year.  We have a tradition that we all love... the horn of plenty.  My mom does it every year.  The kids love it especially and I, of course am like a little kid when it comes to candy.  She buys cheetos, pretzels, bugles, starburst, m&m's, reeses pieces, and skittles then mixes them all up.  So good except for when you get a skittle, m&m, and reeses pieces in your mouth at the same time, so gross!  What a fun thing that I will certainly do every year for my family.
Holly and Wilbur.  Love em!

Candice and Millie...  so cute!
Sambo and my sweet little stinker, Lucy (not eating just playing with her food).

After we ate we watched movies and took naps then the kids all went swimming in the hot tub.  Later in the evening Holly, Candice, and I went to the movies.  We saw Four Christmasses, loved it!  In fact, I went again with Dave a couple of nights later and loved it even more.  It was a very fun day!  I wonder where we will be spending Thanksgiving next year and who we will be spending it with.  I'm so thankful that we will always have each other no matter where we are.  I love you guys!

Drama Queen #2 on her way!

I had an ultrasound today and well... Lucy is going to have a little sister!!! Yay!!! I thought for sure it was going to be a boy but I thought the same with Lucy. I have to say I was a little shocked but I am so excited that Lucy will have a little friend, plus we won't have to buy a thing! Everything looks good and the baby is healthy and growing normally. I have to go back for another ultrasound in 4-6 weeks because the placenta was low and covering part of the cervix, which was the case with Lucy, but as the baby gets bigger the placenta should move up into the uterus more, which it did with Lucy. I'm sure it will be fine but they just want to check it to make sure that it all is growing where it is supposed to, although I wouldn't mind having another C-section... it was actually kinda nice. Thanks to Holly (my sis-in-law) and Candice for coming to the ultrasound with me. Dave has been out of town and I couldn't reschedule the ultrasound for 2 more weeks because they were booked and I couldn't wait so I went without him. We made it a date and went to dinner afterward. What a good day! I think Dave is excited, he loves us right? Who wants boys anyway? JK! My due date is Aprl 28, 2009.

Also, we said (well, I said bye bye) to Lucy's bink today. I cut the end off and let's just say she learned a new word "broken". It has been a rough day for the both of us. She cried and asked for her bink all day long, "bink go, mom?". My heart breaks for her everytime she goes over to the drawer where I kept them and she would look in there and then look at me and say "Mom, bink gone, broken." Sad! I feel so bad taking her only comfort away from her. It also made me sad tonight when I put her to bed. I gave her the "broken" bink because she was freaking out without it in her hand and she tried so hard to keep it in her mouth. She was so frustrated and sad. She finally fell asleep (45 minutes later) with her hand holding it up against her mouth. I hope she sleeps okay tonight. She has only been asleep for an hour and has already been tossing and turning and crying for her bink. It is going to be a long night. I have thought about giving it to her only at night for a while but I don't want her to be confused about it. What do you think? Anyway, I wanted to get rid of it in July when she turned 2 but with Dave being gone so much the last couple of months and me working I didn't know how regular of a schedule she would have and who she would be with so I opted to let her keep it for a while and now that things are starting to slow down and get back to normal I felt like it was a good time to get rid of the darn thing. It became to the point where she wanted to suck on it all day (she would throw a huge tantrum when we went to the store, church, gym, in the car, playing outside etc. when I wouldn't let her have it, I asked myself it is worth it?, then give in... no wonder why the kid doesn't know how to talk she constantly sucks on that thing) and all night long and would whine and cry for it when I would take it away from her, plus... she is 2 1/2 years old! It's time even though I feel totally guilty about taking it away from her because she loves it so much. I know it is not a big deal but it is something I will read back on and know it all will work out... it always does even though it is hard sometimes.

Sarah also had her baby today, Sadie Lyn. I saw a picture of her and she is darling. I'm excited to see her. I miss having a little baby. Not long and I will have one of my very own. I'm so blessed and excited to be having another one. Congrats to you on the new baby!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone this week!

Carrie Underwood 08

For my birthday back in June Dave gave me tics to see Carrie Underwood, my all time favorite country singer.  It was so fun!  I love her.  This pic is so cool!  If you look hard enough you can see her to the side of us singing on the screen.  We had awesome seats!
Before the concert we went out to eat.  My sisters, Candice and Jen, also had tickets so we all went together.  Another fun date night for us.  It doesn't happen very often so I have to make a big deal about it when it does.
Thanks for the tickets EZO.  What a great idea!  Happy Birthday to me last June.  I'm getting old.

New York 08

Dave interviewed in Long Island, New York last week and I was able to go with him.  The place was beautiful but it gives me a pit in my stomach thinking that we could be living there come this summer and not just for the summer but for 5 or 6 years.  It is so far away from home!  Wherever we end up will be fine but it will be a huge adjustment that I'm not sure I am ready for, especially just after having a baby.  We left Lucy behind, which I was really nervous about because I had never left her for more than a night before but she did just fine.  Dave's super sweet sister and her family took care of her for the first couple of nights and then my sister took her the last night.  I missed her so much.

Manhattan is only about 1 hr and a few minutes away from Long Island so we drove there on Friday after his interview for the weekend.  We have some friends that live in Manhattan so we were able to see a lot of them while we were out there.  We ate a lot, shopped a little, saw a play on Broadway, and walked a million miles.

It was such a fun getaway.  I wish we could do it more often.  I love you babe!  Thanks for taking me along.

Winter is coming!

I think this picture is so cute!  I can't believe she actually looked at the camera and smiled for me.  I was going through my closet and found this gloworm that I bought for her when she was a baby and she loved it.  I thought I had lost it but it was in a pile of random things in my closet and I was so happy that I found it.  I gave it to Lucy and she hummed to the songs all night and carried it with her where ever  she went.  She also loves this Shrek baby.  I recently bought "Shrek the Halls" for her and she watches it 20 times a day.  She also calls the baby  (her soon to be brother or sister) shrek baby.  I hope it doesn't come out looking like a Shrek baby.  Yikes!  She's funny.  I think she is going to love having a new baby around, we'll see.Since Halloween is over I decided that since it was freezing cold and snowy outside that we would start decorating for the holidays.  Lucy loves helping me put up these window stickers.
When we woke up the other morning there was about 6 inches of snow on the ground.  When I opened the blinds Lucy was so excited about it.  She acted like she had never seen snow before.  She probably doesn't remember it from last year.  She stared out the window and pointed and said "snow mom, snow!"  She was still in her jammies but she wanted to go outside so I bundled her in her winter coat and we went outside to play.  I started shoveling the snow off of the driveway and she wanted to help so I found this shovel that I plant flowers etc with and she helped me.  What usually takes me 5 minutes took me 15.  The joy of having kids, right?  I love her.She loved eating the snow.  I tried to tell her there were bugs in the snow but she didn't care, she kept on eating.  Gross.
I'm excited for the winter to come and wish it only lasted through the holidays instead of until March or later.  I don't know what I am going to do with with Lucy all winter while it is cold outside.  I guess we will have to go walk around the mall everyday.  Breaks my heart!

Happy Halloween!

I have been talking to Lucy about Halloween for a couple of months now.  I bought her a couple of books with Halloween things and she has learned so many new words... ghost, pumpkin, cupcakes, doughnuts, spiders, witch, worms, candle, owl, bones, pizza (random but it was in her book), bat, pirate, treasure, cookie, frog, apple, monster, tiger, bird, and treats were the main ones although she already knew some of the words already.  Of course she had no idea what Halloween was all about but she quickly learned when we took her trick-or-treating on Halloween night.  This picture was taken at the University mall where all of the stores were handing out candy.  At first we had to help her and show her what to do and after a few stores she caught on and was running from store to store with all of the other millions of kids that were there.  It was really fun!  What a great idea.I love this shirt!  It glows in the dark.  I wore it to work one night and the kids loved it.  I'm wearing it every year from now on.  I hate dressing up so it's perfect.
Trick-or-treating at the Clarks (my parents), we also went to see Dave's parents.  His mom was home alone so she was excited to see Lucy then we went over to see his dad, he was working on painting their new condo.  She would get excited every time we would put her butterfly costume back on thinking she was going trick-or-treating again.

She was so happy all night but of course I couldn't get one picture of her smiling at the camera.
It was a good Halloween and it's going to get better every year!  What will she be next year? Also Luly, thanks for working so hard collecting all of that candy for me.  All of you parents know you do the same thing, you pick out the candy you like and give the rest to your kids that worked so hard running from door to door for 1 little piece of candy.  I love it!

Carving pumpkins

It's Halloween time!  Yay!  While Dave was out in Rochester, NY this last week interviewing for a residency program out there, Lucy and I went (suprise, suprise) down to chill with the fam.  We carved pumpkins and watched Biggest Loser, which my family is totally hooked on.  I think they ended up pretty cute or "spooky" as Lucy would say.
She loves her Aunt Jenny!  Here she is doing her "spooky" face.  Pretty scary Luce!
I didn't actually carve a pumpkin, I was the designated pumpkin seed sorter and maker.  They were so good!  Thanks for letting us come and stay at your house... again!  Dave goes to Illinois this week for another interview and has another one in Long Island, NY (which I am going with! I can't wait although we are leaving Lucy behind.  Sad!  I am going to miss her so much), 2 in Texas, 1 in Virginia, and Utah so far.  I'm sure there are more to come as well so I will keep everyone updated.  Good luck babe!  I love you.

Fall hiking 08

The weather has been so nice!  I wish it was like this all year round.  It was such a nice day so we decided to take advantage of it before the cold snowy weather hits.  There are a whole bunch of trails above our house that we like to go hiking on.  I LOVE this picture!!!  Dave looks so cute and Lucy is the happiest thing ever!  I can't believe she still fits in this carrier.  I told Dave we need to invest in a a better carrier for hiking...  this one is meant for little babies, which Lucy is not anymore.  I will miss the mountains so much if we move out of state this next summer, which is a huge possibility... but I am totally okay with it.

More soccer 08

Last week was really fun!  We watched more soccer.
This is a pic of my cute sister, Candice, and Lucy after her soccer game in Logan.  She plays for Utah State.  She had a couple games during the weekend and also had her senior banquet that my mom and I have been to for the last 4 years.  My dad always goes deer hunting during the weekend of her banquet so my mom takes me and Lucy instead.  I can't believe 4 years has gone by already.  We stayed at Hampton Inn and just relaxed all weekend.

Lucy helped herself to the team's powerade.  She loves sweet drinks...  and calls everything coke.  I wonder why.So the pictures didn't come up in order but we went to Jenny's soccer game in St. George the first part of the week.  We drove down Monday and drove home Tuesday evening after the game.  It was a quick trip but it was fun.  We ate so much junk food, including Nielsen's custard both days we were there.  So good.  Then on Thursday she had another game in Bountiful that we went to.  They lost so it was their last game.  Sad to see the season end.  We love going to the games!
Jenny and Jordan took Lucy to the hot tub at the hotel while I checked my email in peace.  Thanks guys and thanks mom for inviting us to come with you.  It was such a fun week!

Gardner Village

I absolutely love Halloween!  I took Lucy to Gardner Village to see all of the fun Halloween things.  It was a perfect day and she loved it!  The funny thing is, is that there were all kinds of witches, cute carved pumpkins, ghosts hanging from trees, and anything else you could imagine and Lucy can't get enough of these random ducks swimming in the pond.  Total Lucy! She also loved this spider and 'punkin'.  I actually loved them too.  I love having a little buddy to hang out with.  She doesn't care what we do just as long as it is outside.

Stretching

Dad is an old man but he swears that stretching every night before going to bed is going to keep him young.  Sometimes Lucy likes to stretch with him but most of the time it ends up like this.  She is so funny!  She is so chill in the morning and throughout most of the day but when 10 o'clock at night hits she thinks it is time to play and she comes alive.  I am kind of the same way but she wears me out and I am tired by the end of the day, but not Lucy.  She thinks the day is just starting and she runs around the house screaming and laughing.  It's really fun trying to get her to sleep at night, I wish someone would invent some childrens Lunesta already!  Ha ha...

Hee Haw Farms

We all went to Hee Haw Farms this last week for a Halloween get together before it gets freezing cold.  I love Halloween time!  It is one of my favorite holidays.  Lucy loved this little train ride and rode on it backwards like this.  Funny!  They had some big slides, kid friendly haunted house, haunted hay ride with creepy dressed up characters chucking candy at your head, corn maze, animals, pumpkin patch, corn box, hot chocolate and a million trillion kids.
Lucy was with Kade playing on one of the slides and I turned my head for not even 10 seconds to get a wristband to go into the corn maze, I turned around and Lucy was no where to be found.  It was the worst feeling I have ever had.  I started to panic and I could feel tears welling up in my eyes.  Every one in my family was looking for her.  I couldn't even tell them what she was wearing because I was so scared.  It was getting dark and I kept thinking someone has taken her or she is lost in the corn maze and scared or she is wandering out in the field of parked/parking cars and she going to get run over.  It was awful.  A feeling I never want to have again.  About 10 minutes later my mom found her at the entrance calling for mommy but she wasn't scared or crying just checking things out.  I was so relieved to see her safe.  I happily let her sleep in my bed, snore in my face, kick me in the back, ask for milk, and helped her find her binkie all night.  Oh wait, I have been doing that for the last month while Dave was out of town and now she won't sleep in her bed.  I am so glad that she was okay.  I would rather have her sleep in my bed than be lost at Hee Haw Farms.  What a nightmare!
We waited for Dave to go through the corn maze... this was post Lucy missing.  I haven't gone through a corn maze in years.  It was fun and as Lucy would say...  Spooky!
Playing in the cornbox.  We couldn't get her out of it.  I bet you can't imagine what came out of her diaper, clothes, and shoes when we got home.  We went to JCW's to eat dinner after.  It was a good night except for the 10 minutes Lucy was gone.  I will never forget this night!

Happy 7th Anniversary

Yep!  We have been married for 7 years.  We were married on October 4th, 2001.  What a great day!  Our anniversary always falls on Conference weekend so it is always fun to go somewhere and listen to conference, it also always seems to be rainy so it is a good excuse to stay in, relax, and spend some time together.  This year we stayed at Castle Creek Inn, a little bed and breakfast place.  On Friday night we hiked up Millcreek canyon (we took Lucy with us) and went to Market Street Grill for dinner.  Then we went back and watched movies in bed by the fire.  We listened to Conference the next day and just hung out.  We went to Provo that night, Dave went to Priesthood conference with my dad and brothers and the girls stayed inside by the fire, watched Ghost, and ordered Brick Oven.  What a good weekend!  I love you EZO!  You are the best husband and dad in the whole wide world!  Thanks for the awesome card and maternity massage gift certificate.  That's right!  We're having another baby!  Yay!

Grandmas house

Dave did 2 more away rotations in the month of September.  He was in Lubbock, TX (Texas Tech) for 2 weeks and then did 2 more weeks in Temple, TX (Texas A&M).  While he was gone we went and stayed at my parents.  There were a couple of days that we were at home and it was so lonely, I am so glad that my family is close.  I don't know what I would have done without them.  I missed Dave so much and am so glad that he is home although I feel like I haven't seen him much since he started a new rotation at Primary's the day after he got home.  Anyway, Lucy loved being at Grandma and Grandpas.  Jenny was also there to play with her.  Cousins also came to visit.  One night everyone came over for a BBQ and Cougar football game.  Sarah was also in town with Kade.  The kids love swimming in the hot tub, especially Lucy!  She was also obsessed with jumping on the trampoline and swinging in their backyard, Duke (the cute doggie next door), watching Nemo, Tarzan, or Toy Story on Aunt Candice's bed, Muppet Babies, McDonald pirate movie on Uncle Sean's bed, and Shrek on Aunt Jenny's bed, water D (I have no idea what this was but she said it constantly), Ew buggies, and otter pops.
Oh!  She was also obsessed with these darn new little kittens.  I have to admit, they are pretty cute but I am so allergic to them that my eyes would be red and itchy all dang day.  Miserable!  Cute picture though!
Two peas in a pod.  Kade and Lucy are best buddies!  They used to fight but while they were in town this last month they wouldn't go anywhere without each other.  I wished they lived closer, Arizona is too far away.  They had so much fun together!
It was a fun month!  Thanks for letting us stay at your house.

Fall hike

Since Dave was gone for a whole long month we basically lived at my parents house and since it was Monday night, as we all know as family night, we decided to go on a hike up to Bridal Veil Falls.  It was such a nice night and the leaves were so pretty.  I love the fall, it is my very favorite season although depressing knowing that winter is just around the corner...  Boo!  As you can see Lucy is on my dads shoulders and Jenny and my mom are walking beside him and I am of course behind them taking this picture.  Duh!
Helping Lucy collect rocks to throw into the stream.  Her favorite part of the whole night.  She likes to throw things behind her instead of forward so I think she hit more people behind her with rocks than the water, Oops.  She still thought it was the best!  You like her new kicks?  I can't figure out how to get this picture to turn.  Sorry!
See her collection of rocks?
Then off to Costco for frozen yogurt.  So delish!

Homecoming

Isn't my little sis, Jenny, so cute?  She was the 2nd attendant for Homecoming royalty.  These are her cute friends.  What a fun time in life. This is such a cute pic!  Lucy loves her Aunt Jenny!  Congrats Jen!
I got Lucy up early (okay, so it was like 9:45 am that I woke her up, she likes to sleep in like her mommy...  I work nights people give me a break!) to go to the Timpview assembly the morning of the big football game.  The assembly reminded me of the good old days at PHS.  Anyway, I thought this picture was funny because she would not let me have that darn bink and she wanted her blanket wrapped around her shoulders for some reason, so I let her walk around like this.  It's not worth the tantrum for all of you moms that have 2 year olds.  I thought it was funny.  She's so cute!  I love you Luly!
The football game was fun and she looked so cute walking out on the field in her darling dress.  Good times!

Soccer, soccer, soccer

We have been to lots and lots of soccer games this last month.  Candice plays for Utah State in Logan and Jenny is a senior at Timpview and plays for their soccer team.  It is always fun to see them play.  Candice threw us a ball at the beginning of one her games, autographed and all, so we took the ball to all of the games and Lucy loved to kick it around.  Maybe she will play soccer one day, she would be good at it!Lucy, Jenny, and Jordan at Candice's game in Logan.  It was hot!  Cute pic.
Eating dinner after.  I love this picture because of her sun kissed cheeks.  Thanks for letting us come to your games.  I love you guys!

State Fair

I took Lucy to the State Fair sometime in September.  Dave was in Texas for the month of September and he took the memory stick and the laptop with him, that's why I am so behind on posting.  Anyway, Lucy loved the fair.  For some reason she loved this goat.  Random!  I thought she would love the horses, cows, or pigs but no...  she loved the goats.  Pretty cute!
She kept laughing at this animal...  whatever it is.
She was fascinated by these bees.  Maybe because "Bee" is her middle name.
She loved the bunnies.  I love the way she tries to imitate them.  I have tried over and over to show her how to wrinkle her nose but she can't do it so she squints her eyes and moves her mouth.  I love it.  It was a fun day.  The caramel apples were the best part!
